Yeild Toner Question
What is a good copy machine to get for a print and mail business?
A good high speed business copier where the ink, toner, ect. don’t cost too much. I have a print and mail business but have someone else do the printing. Was thinking about getting my own high tech copy machine to do the printing myself and yeild more profits. Any suggestions. I would need to make around 40,000 copies per month.
If you are plannig to do that much I’d acctually suggest 2 machine instead of 1 big one, then if you have an ossue on one you can still run your business albeit at a sloghtly slower rate.
Dependsing what EXACTLY you need, the Konica Minolta Bizhub range are good machines. Easy to look after, and can be leased on a pay per page basis usually so you can REALLY know what the costs will be for you.
If you split it into 2 machines, each doing 20,000 a month you’re really looking at something like the Bizhub C353, which is a 35ppm machine, and can be setup with large capacity input bins, staples, folder units etc.
If you do want to stay with 1 machine, then look at the C550 and C650 machines that are over 50 ppm, and have the FS-608 finisher that does staple, and fold/saddlestich to make little booklets.
