Where to find sales agreement between two companies regarding employee years of service?
My husband was employed by Danka Omni fax when the company was bought out in 1999. When the company was bought out all employees were told that if they were brought on to work for Xerox, all their years of service with Omni fax would carry over, for vacation, severance and seniority. Now in 2009 my husband has been lid off by Xerox and they do not want to give him credit for time worked at Omni fax. I know his former boss had a copy of this agreement and got a settlement for Xerox to pay, but we can not find his former boss. Does anyone know how we can find the judgment or the original sales agreement of the company that should cover treatment of employees? This will make a difference of 2 months of severance pay; please any help would be appreciated.
