HP Printer 4355?
Hi All,
I am looking to buy a printer. When i did some research, i found that HP 4355 has got all-in-one option (such as printer, fax, scanner, xerox etc.,). Can anyone tell me how is the printer working? Is it worth it to buy for a home? I think that since this has all-in-one feature, i need not go for a scanner or a fax machine seperately. Please advise with your valuable feedback.

There are advantages and disadvantages to combination printers. They’re more compact but they can also be a bit harder to use than individual devices.
Depending on your intended usage pattern, I’d also be a bit leery of inkjets. They’re a classical razor/razor blade racket where the printer is cheap but the ink is expensive. If you are going to use it a lot you may want to consider a laser based alternative.
That said, I’ve had great experiences with most HP products. Oscilloscopes, power supplies, ink jets and laser printers. I’ve found their PCs to be pretty crummy though.
I have a xerox workcentre 450 fax machine how do i connect it to my computor?
I got my commputor second hand so no instructions came with it and no cable, so i bought one a now do not know where it connects on my tower whicth is a Acer, in the tower i have a printer,mouse,webcam,modem,and computor whitch is a sony trinitron multiscanG200.

a fax machine needs to be connected to a modem via the “line in” telephone socket
then go to start>control panel>printers and faxes>then press the link on the left “set up faxing”
this will start the fax set up wizard which will set up and configure your xerox workcentre 450 fax machine
also as your fax machine is easier to use with a second phone line contact b.t to ask for a second line,it only costs around £5 per month for a extra line and i think its about 3p per fax sent or received
