Can anyone help me websites and information about installing the brother laser printer 2170W?
ok, so I have 2 cds, I don’t know how to install the cd to my computer. The printer is brother laswer 2170W and it is wireless. Can anyone help me in this and give me any videos or websites that I can go on. I really need help in this. I will be really appreciated for your answers. Thanks and 100 points for the best answer!
Insert the installation CD. Some printers install automatically, but the CD contains software that may make the printer easier to use. If you have it, check the documentation to see what the CD contains.
Install the software if desired or necessary to utilize all the printer’s functions. Follow the CD’s on-screen instructions.
Insert the ink cartridges and paper. Different printer models use different kinds of ink. Check the specific Brother model documentation to verify how to install the ink (see Resources below).
Check printer setup by printing a test page. After installing the Brother printer, you can verify it is working by printing a test page. Click on “Control Panel > Printers > Brother Model > Properties > Maintenance > Print Test Page. If the test page fails, consult the documentation for troubleshooting tips.
What type of wireless router do I need?
We moved into an apartment and it seems that we currently we have an Atlanta Scientific wireless router. From the looks of it I see a “cable” cord connected in the back and so I think our digital cable runs through it as well. The signal is weak.
I am looking to buy an affordable wireless router to replace this shabby one. We live in a two story apartment.
I will be running the following on it:
-wireless internet off of 2 MacBook Pros
-My PS3 (which I am hoping I can add Netflix to)
-2 new wireless printers (one laser and on inkjet)
Any suggestions (ideally with a link to the product) would be greatly appreciated.

So I should have added that I need to be able to run my digital cable through it as well.
If you need the extra bandwidth and range go with wireless N. If not then go with wireless G. The PS3 has wireless G so it makes the most sense. You will also save some money.
