Usb Extender: Usb Extension Through Cat5, Fiber Optic Cables & Wireless Technology
A USB Extender allows placement of USB peripheral devices up to a distance of 150 feet away from the source computer. USB has a distance limitation of 5 meters. Since these extension devices are connected to the source and display via Cat5 cables, the distance barrier is overcome. Peripherals can now be placed at a distance of 330 feet. It allows placement of up to 4 USB devices at remote locations. Comprising of a transmitter and receiver which connect to the host and peripherals, this extension device is simple to set up and uses plug and play functionality for operation.

How can I connect a non-wireless, non-networkable printer to a wireless network?
I have an older model HP 1220 C and would like to be able to access it from my laptop. I have a wireless network in my house, but am curious to know if there is a device (hub?) that I can use to plug my printer into and access from all of my household computers wirelessly? I’d appreciate any help you can offer or sites you could suggest. Thanks!
There are two solutions that you can choose from:
1. Port the printer to a desktop that is on your network and then share the printer.
2. Purchase a wireless print server… I’ve seen some available at Wal-Mart and Best Buy…
I just got an iMac and i need a USB Hub?
Hey i just got a 24 inch iMac and i got the wireless keyboard. My Problem is that it only has 3 USB. Right now i have a printer, Wireless Mouse, and a External Drive. Im tired of swaping out usb for my iPod and camera. I’ve seen Usb Hubs at Best Buy but there really UGLY! i want one that matches my iMac. Really Simple and its color is aluminum or Black
