Cleaning Your Toner Cartridge Drum

Here are some easy steps that you can take to give the special care for the drums.
It is important for you to give a special care for your printer, especially the drum. You can do the following steps so that you will get what you really need. For the first step, you have to open the front casing of the laser printer. Even though there are various types and model of the laser printers, some printers will be opened by pulling up the front lid. In doing this step, you can check your manual instructions if you are in doubt. You need to be sure that you will do it correctly.
For the second step, you may use the screwdriver in removing the screws that are holding the drum in the place. Most of printers usually have the three screws and also a vertical drum, while the others will have the two screws and also along horizontal drum. You should pull the internal release latch of your right hand side of a drum. For the vertical drum, you have to depress the release switch that is located behind the drum.
For the next step, you need to remove the drum for your printer, and then place it on the paper towel. After that, moisten more paper towels by using the acetone and thoroughly wipe down the drum. It will probably be quite a bit of the built up ink on the drums, this may take more attempts in order to get if clean. Then, allow your drum to dry absolutely.
For the last step, you can return the drum to your printer. In doing this step, you have to be sure to hold it quietly in the place while you are locking down the release switch or the lever. After you are sure that it is locked in the place. You may put your screws back into the place and then close your printer.

Canon LBP 5050 Problem ?
I have been using canon lbp 5050 for a while now. Usually when it displays the error of toner catridge low lifetime , i just click on resolve error. 2 weeks back, it said my black toner is completely finished , so i just changed it. But now i still can’t print. When i try to print the alarm light blinks. And now i can’t seen to find the software which always show what error my printer has. So I’m helpless . I can’t even press resolve error.Please somebody help me? This is very important, It’s my assignment. Please tell me what i should do and which driver or software i should download. As far as i know, i have the latest drivers. Pls help?
