How can I get my Brother DCP-340CW to print over the network?
I have one Brother DCP-340CW and two computers connected to it via my linksys wireless router. The printer has been allocated an IP address in the router and the computers can ping it. I has set the LAN Settings on the printer. The brother installation process on the PC searches and finds the printer, the installation is successful and the printer is listed in the printers. In My Computer, the scanner is listed under Scanners and Cameras and the scanning works but when I print, it just sits in the print queue on the computer and does not print. I also notice the little device icon in the system tray always says “No Device”. Can anyone help?
The software is aleady installed, it is using a wireless network already and it is my default printer but it still work route the print jobs to the printer. Note: that if I connect the printer directly, it works but I can only connect one comptuter directly and I have 2 computers so I want to print over the LAN.
