Important industrial lubricants are oils, fluids, greases and other compounds to reduce friction, binding or wear and most importantly exclude moisture. The most specialized characteristics is to enhance thermal conduction across thermal interfaces or reduce electrical resistivity across electrical joints. Industrial lubricants provide sealing and exclude moisture, water or gas from joints or machines. This provides a degree of corrosion protection for both internal and external surfaces. Industrial lubricants can also used to mold release agents and instead of anti-loading additives on abrasive products. Industrial lubricants are available in a variety of forms such as low viscosity oils, greases , waxes, solid lubricant powders and high temperature silicates. There are lots of types of industrial lubricants. Additives are chemical substances that are added to fluids to impart or improve specific properties Micro-dispersions are oils or lubricating fluids that contain a dispersion of solid lubricant particles such as polytetrafluorethylene (PTFE), graphite, and molybdenum disulfide or boron nitride (BN) in a mineral, petroleum or synthetic oil base. Fluid lubricants are a broad category that includes coolants, refrigerants, base oils, and transformer oils. Solid lubricants and dry film lubricants are compounds such as hexagonal flake graphite that are used to reduce friction, binding or wear; exclude water; or provide other specialized stuff.
Common sealing orientation and directions for hydraulic seals and pneumatic seals include internal or rod seal, external or piston seal, symmetric seal, and axial seal. Rod seals are radial seals. The seal is press-fit into a housing bore with the sealing lip contacting the shaft. Also referred to as a shaft seal. Piston seals are radial seals. The seal is fit onto a shaft with the sealing lip contacting the housing bore. V-rings are considered external lip seals. Symmetric seals are symmetrical and works equally well as a rod or a piston seal. An axial seal seals axially against a housing or machine component. Sealing direction pertains primarily to hydraulic and pneumatic seals that are used in applications with axial motion, such as cylinders and pistons. The action can be single or double. Single acting, or unidirectional seals, offer an effective seal in one axial direction only. In order to seal in both directions for a reciprocating motion, more than one seal must be used. Double acting, or bi-directional seals, are effective when sealing in both directions.

Sealed Oem Question
Wireless Keyboard Problem?
I purchased this keyboard in a wireless desktop set keyboard and mouse. from another site not this one http://www.recycledgoods.com/item/23974.aspx
It wasn’t brand new but i think it was an OEM because it was factory sealed anyway i haven’t had any majors problems with it, it’s just that i can’t seem to get some keys to work more specificly the f1-f12 keys and a few others i’ve tried going into the keyboard settings to see if something was locked but there aren’t many options there can someone give me a solution?.
Could it be that the keyboard needs a special driver that has not been installed? You might try a search to see if you can find a driver for that keyboard. It might be working in sort of a “generic” mode now, but with the driver the F Keys might work as well. Hope this helps.
New cellphone battery 100% dead, won’t charge, but I jump started it?
Was jumping it a bad idea? Read on…..
I bought a few OEM cellphone batteries at a super bragain price, for my cellphone. Brand new with manufacture seal.

However, my phone could not charge it at all. It seemed as though I didn’t even put a battery in the phone. It made no difference. .. ….like the battery didn’t even exist?
So, I decided to rig up a “jump start charge”, with a few wires, gator-clamps and a different charge of the same capacity and ratings.
After 30 minutes of jumping it, on my basement workshop bench, I put the partially charged battery back into the phone and BINGO! Everything is fine, the phone knows the battery is there. It continued the charge. Works nice!
Now, a few days later, the phone has been used and tested, and no problem.
Is my “Jump Charge” method something that other users may have done too, for a new (or totally drained) battery?
Well, usually new battery needs a longer charge and you don’t need to jump start it. IIt’s a common sight if there’s no reaction from your phone for the 1st 2 hours of charging. Usually after that you’ll be able to see the charging bar on your phone screen. Even if you’ve finish charging, you’ll need to keep it charging for at least 8 hours for the fisrt time.
Good thinking on jump charging, but sometimes that method may spoil your battery completely. Hope you don’t have to use that method anymore on your next new phone
