Windows 7 Update
Windows 7 is the best operating system till the time. But Microsoft is working hard to add more challenging features to further enhance its performance within a time frame of less than three months; it has start working on Windows 7 SP1 Service Pack 1.
The service pack will be available around June 2010 for the testers and final version will be published around September 2010. But one thing is clear that it will come with better networking features with enhancement to the Bluetooth and Wi-Fi stacks. Printer V305 Question
What’s wrong with my printer?
I have a Dell V305 printer and just tried to print off a document on Word. Each time I try to print the document, it shows the printing status, stops at 30%, and the “estimated ink levels” icons have question marks on them (my ink levels are not low, so don’t suggest trying that). The Wi-Fi icon is blue, indicating that it’s connected. This is the first time this has ever happened. So I’m not sure what’s going on.
How do I re-install the drivers?
To reinstall the drivers you need to first delete the printer from your computer.
To do this go in to ‘control panel’ and then select ‘ programmes and feature’.
Double click to open and then click on your printer in the list to highlight it then click ‘uninstall.
Reinstall the disc that came with the printer and this should reinstall the printer to how it was.
New Dell printer not printing?
I just bought a Dell V305/V305w AIO Inkjet printer and hooked up to a Dell Dimension 8300 (older model running XP). I know the printer works, b/c it copies. I have downloaded drivers, reinstalled printer and still cannot get it to print. It looks on the screen like it is printing, but does not print. Can anyone help?? TIA!!
make sure your communication cable is plugged in, if its usb, try unplugging it and plugging it back in to see if it recognizes it
