Photo Quality Printers Question
Where can I find a lab quality photo printer that will print 11×14 or up to 16×20?
I am looking to start a photography business locally and I’ve been to all the office retail shops, I’ve searched a few common places online and so on. I want to be able to print my own portraits in great quality up to at least 11×14 without special ordering the prints. Also, where can I find the photo paper that size? Thanks. I don’t need a jumbo poster sized printer unless it absolutely comes down to it. I just need that happy medium.
P.S. Also, if anyone has any advice on how to run a successful portrait studio, please let me know. I’m new to this and fresh out of college. How do I get started? Where can I find a cash register program for my computer?…a credit/debit card scanner?… etc.

I would like to buy a photo printer that prints really good 8×10′s.?
I need a photo printer that is semi-professional quality that prints 8×10′s. I have found the 4×6 or 5×7 printers but that’s it! I am an aspiring photographer, and hope to get in more practice, but I need a good printer so I don’t have to go to rite aid or walmart(the nearest one is 20 mls) everytime I need to print some good pictures.
I would also recommend the Epson R800 if most of your prints will be no larger than 8×10, and if you need to conserve desktop space. I rarely print 11x17s.
The R800 seems to have resolved a bronzing issue that was apparent in the older Epson photo printers.
Epson has great archival ink and a wider selection of practical and creative papers to choose from. The only downside is cost…the inks tend to get used up fairly fast. But if you are printing treasures, this should not be so much of an issue.
