Help! I just bought a HP Color Laserjet CP1210 and it won’t work with my Mac. Please Help!?
I’ve been wanting a inexpensive color laser printer for my graphics business. I just purchased the one I listed above today, and the sales lady told me it would be compatible with my Mac. After killing myself getting in the house, now I cannot get it to work. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Debbie
try going to HP’s website and look for a driver for the model of printer that you bought that will work for your mac. also it may have separate mac and windows install disks. if all else fails, there’s probably a FAQ section on the website, and probably in the manual also there may be some specific info in the manual
after having read the post of the other person who has posted on your question i thought i should say. “don’t trust sales associates, they seldom know what they are saying. always read the packaging yourself. if it is going to be compatible with Apple computers then there will either be an image of an Apple (the Apple logo) or it will say something like compatible with: or requires: and mac os will be listed there. they have the documentation of that on the box so that customers are informed of what they are about to purchase. i do not know where you are from or what store you purchased the printer from, but i suggest trying to see if they will give you your money back on it. i suggest calling the store to see what their refund policy is on printers before taking it only to find out you can’t exchange it or get a refund. most reputable stores have their phone number online somewhere on their website.

I want to buy a Canon printer, especially a laser printer, but I also don’t have enough for a dollar one, can anyone recommend a Canon printer, laser or non-laser, for a budget price?
