HP Deskjet F380: Efficient Inkjet Printer
HP Deskjet F380 printer is an efficient inkjet printer. It is a printer copier cum scanner. It utilizes thermal inkjet technology. It is styled well and requires less desk space. It helps to complete the office tasks of stationeries with ease. It is light in weight and can be easily carried by hand. It makes lab quality borderless photographic prints.
Black cartridge deliver sharp and dark easily readable text prints of document. Cyan magenta and blue color HP 351XL cartridges deliver superior quality prints. Prints dry quickly on every surface of stock without smudging. Prints last several years and do not fade. It is economical to use XL cartridges as more ink is provided with the cartridges. It uses dye based ink to make natural color photos and graphic prints paper.
The printer is provided with HP Photosmart Essentials and HP Photosmart Express software. Photosmart Essentials software is useful to organize, edit, share and make lab quality photographs.
Auto feeder facility is not available with the printer. Prints are provided at speeds which cannot be said to be very fast. It makes prints only on one side of the paper. Duplex printing is not possible with the printer. Not even driver support is provided for duplex printing. The printer takes different stock materials such as transparencies, envelopes, cards, HP premium media, iron-on transfers, paper, and photo papers.
Copier makes copies at 14 cpm speed for color in draft mode and 20 cpm speed for black in draft mode. Maximum of 9 copies can be obtained with the copier. It makes sharp copies with resolution of 600 dpi for black and 1200 dpi for color.

can i use any inkjet printer to print image on iron-on-transfer paper?
i’m having a normal inkjet printer. but can it still be used on iron-on-transfer paper? what will happen if i use a normal inkjet printer to print? can the image still be transfered to my shirt? thanks!
You can use a regular inkjet printer – yes.
On light colored t-shirts the image has to be reversed before printing but dark colored does not. There are two types of paper so don’t use light colored one for anything dark as it will not work. The printer should be set to paper type t-shirt transfer. If your printer does not have that setting you have to rotate the image using a programme or else the design will read backwards when you print it. You will need to set the quality on best if you do not have the transfer setting.
These are the instructions for transfer paper. It is for a glitter one but the instructions are the same for all light colored paper.

Th secret to iron-on transfers is JUST that. When you print to the transparency, make sure you set the option in the printer preferences to MIRROR. You need the print to be backward so that when you iron it on, it will face the correct way.
Also, put a few blanks of white paper over the iron-on so that the ink can seep in the tissue. Thius will withstand many washes and do a better job because the iron will heat the ink slowly and give it time to enter the fabric.
