- The Error 21 is described as ‘Print Overrun’. This problem can be easily solved by seeing that whatever you are printing is not very complex.

What happens if you use the wrong ink cartridge for a printer.?
I have an HP Officejet printer that allows 22 tricolor ink cartridge and 27, 56, and 58 black ink cartridges.
I have the 21 black ink cartridge. Will I still be able to use it or will it be discolored, etc., etc.
It probably won’t work, however if it does it won’t hurt the printer.
Why doesnt the ink cartridge work for printer?
i have an hp deskjet f4180 all in one and i just bought a black refill that says 56 on it and my old one has 21 on it…or could be 210 i cant tell cuz its worn off. does it matter which number? is that why its not working?
Yes, it matters. You can only use #21, 22, and 58 with your printer.
