EPSON STYLUS PHOTO R800 printer problem!! Help!!?
Whenever I turn on my Epson Photo Printer, it makes the usual noises and everything, and then, suddenly, it makes a click and then the ink and paper red lights start flashing very, very quickly and in sync with each other…has my printer died?? Please, I need to print of something really soon and I need to know whether or not to just get a new one.
Usually that means there is a cartridge error. Check you ink level to ensure that all 8 of your cartridges are recognizing properly.
If one of them has a little question mark, replace it. That should resolved your issue. epson printer hate being turned off, it does have a standby mode that the printer will default to when not in use.
Which is the better photo printer?
I have been doing a little research and (I think) I have narrowed my printer search down to two. I am considering buying either the Canon Pixma Pro9000 or the Epson Stylus Photo R1900. I know the Epson uses pigment ink which is supposed to be better, but which of the two will give me the better final result?
Note: I plan on printing both b&w and color.
Epson, hands down..! Especially with the pigmented inks.
I use a 7600 Epson, 24″ wide format & roll printer. It has 3 years of semi heavy duty. It has nor skipped a beat or given me probs other than “pilot errors”..
Some of my work has hung in a few galleries here in Tucson and much more in homes and a few businesses. Not a one has faded and still look as bright and crisp as the day they came off the printer. Plus Epson has some mighty fine papers compared to others. However, Kelly Papers have some mighty fine papers too, especially their 10 mil high gloss and the $$ are very fair.
