Laser is the way to go. I have a Samsung CLP-300, it’s great. If you want an inkjet then go to www.epson.com and then Go to http://www.inkproducts.com/ and buy a CISS for your printer. It will save you tons of money, you never change cartridges and never run out of ink [yes, you do have to fill the tanks once in a while] Bulk ink is cheap. The CISS will pay for itself in a month. Don’t forget to get a Waste Ink Container, it hooks up to the printer and instead of the unusable ink going to the waste ink pad, it goes to the container which can then be emptied, washed and used over and over. The waste ink pad when full will need to be replaced or the printer will not print. Changing the pad is messy and a PITA.

and im only a home user cant imagine if i used it commercially ps when you buy a hp printer the intro ink they give you only lasts a short time. beware of those scam artists! and refills for black and color runs about $40
Find some 2nd source ink suppliers. My HP all-in-one is cheapest if I buy from HP believe it or not.
Here’s a source I use all the time for my Epson.
Their products work great in my Epson, so give them a shot. Sometimes with any 2nd sourch supplier you may get a rejection of the cartridge by your printer but just keep hitting the “OK” button until it says it’s charging or loading… each printer will give you a different message.
