I have a brother MFC-240C printer. My colored ink is finished I have black ink but it won’t print. Why is that
It’s a build in scam on many brands of these cheaper printers…I had a Cannon that once the color ink ran out not only wouldn’t it print in black and white, it wouldn’t even scan documents!!!

i just bought a Brother MFC 240 all in one printer can anyone tell me or tell me were to find HOW TO refill the ink cartrages their LC-51
1. Lay the cartridge down with the label facing up. Using the eyelet screw provided, begin twisting the screw into the top of the cartridge. Continue twisting until it pierces the plastic cover. Once the plastic to is pierced, making the rest of the hole will go very quickly.
2. Connect the needle to the syringe and fill ink.
3. Insert the syringe into the hole and inject about 20 ml. of ink
4. Seal the filling hole with one of the included tape dots.
5. Rinse the syringe with water and dry between each color refill or store for future use
