How do I get my printer (Epson CX7800) to stop combining the other inks to make black?
I ran out of black ink a little while ago and a question popped up to ask if I wanted to use other colours to make the black. I hit yes and my document printed. Now it is still printing that way even though I have a full black ink cartridge. How do I change it back?
go to control panel – printers – right click your printer and choose properties. Poke around there and see if you find the setting. If not, you can reset to default settings, which is a button there. I have other epsons, not the cx7800, so I cant give you exact directions.
next, dont ever play around with ink that way. you should replace ink as soon as it is empty or you risk damaging the printer. read http://ccs-digital.com/inkjetcare.asp
while you’re there, check out their ink prices, particularly the 2-piece cartridges with replaceable ink tanks which hold 66% more ink. I have been using their cartridges for years.
I have got a EPSON STYLE CX6600 print i have bought black and colour inkyjet cartridge ink it printsblack only
it prints black cloure but not any other colours
Is the color cartridge shown in the “print parameters” window?

be sure to Pull off the plastic piece attached to the ends of the print cartridge
